This Privacy Policy is prepared by BUILT WITH IRONS LTD and whose registered address is 13 Norwood Court, Benton, NE12 8AF. ("We") are committed to protecting and preserving the privacy of our visitors when visiting our site or communicating electronically with us.
This policy sets out how we process any personal data we collect from you or that you provide to us through our website and social media sites. We confirm that we will keep your information secure and that we will comply fully with all applicable United Kingdom Data Protection legislation and regulations. Please read the following carefully to understand what happens to personal data that you choose to provide to us, or that we collect from you when you visit our sites. By submitting information you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this policy.
Built With Irons Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; ask us to correct it if it's wrong; ask us to delete it; ask us to restrict how we use it; ask us to move it to another provider (data portability); and object to us using it. You also have the right to withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent (for example, marketing emails: every email has an unsubscribe link). To exercise any of these rights, email edirons@builtwithirons.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
We process your data under one of the following lawful bases: contract (to deliver a guide, programme or coaching service you've paid for); consent (for marketing emails and the 7-Day Challenge waitlist, which you can withdraw any time); and legitimate interests (to run and improve the site, prevent fraud, and answer enquiries) in a way that doesn't override your rights.
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site and our services. Each only receives what it needs to do its job:
We don't sell your data to anyone, and we only share it with these providers to the extent needed to deliver the service you've asked for.
We keep enquiry and waitlist details for as long as needed to respond and follow up, or until you unsubscribe. Client and purchase records are kept for as long as our accounting and tax obligations require (normally 6 years), after which they're deleted or anonymised.
This site uses a small number of cookies: essential ones to remember your members-area login and cookie preferences, and third-party cookies set by Calendly (booking) and Instagram (the embedded feed) when those features load. We don't use advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some site features may not work properly if you block them.
Some of our providers (including Stripe and Meta/Instagram) may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on their standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards approved under UK data protection law.
We may collect, store and use the following kinds of personal information about individuals who visit and use our website and social media sites:
Information you supply to us. You may supply us with information about you by filling in forms on our website or social media. This includes information you provide when you submit a contact/enquiry form. The information you give us may include, but not limited to, your name, address, e-mail address and phone number.

Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. You have the right to ensure that your personal data is being processed lawfully ("Subject Access Right"). Your subject access right can be exercised in accordance with data protection laws and regulations. Any subject access request must be made in writing to edirons@builtwithirons.com.
